William Keith "Bill" Stevenson, 58, of Farmington, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, in Minneapolis, Minn., returning from the Mayo Clinic. For the past year Bill had been fighting a rare disease called amyloidosis affecting his heart. His treatment consisted of extensive chemotherapy but he always stayed positive and willing to fight. Bill was born in Sunnyside, Utah, to John (Jack) and Marian Stevenson, on May 19, 1955. He graduated from Rock Springs High School in 1973. For the past 10 years he worked for BHP Billiton where he met some wonderful people. He was a member of the LDS Farmington 8th ward where he acted as the ward clerk. Bills happiest times were spent with his family. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, golfing, coaching, and four-wheeling in Moab, Utah, with his wife and close friends. Bill had such a contagious laugh; you couldn't help but smile and laugh when you were around him. His jokes will be repeated for years to come. Bill is preceded in death by his father, John "Jack" Stevenson, step-father Dee Potter; brother, James Stevenson. Bill is survived by his wife, Tami Stevenson of Farmington; mother, Marian Potter of Salt Lake City, Utah, sons, Shane Stevenson of Shiprock, Brett Stevenson of Green River, W yo., and Chet Murray of Rifle, Colo.; daughters, Kristy Spalding of Green River, Wyo.; Erin Curtis of Tyler, Texas and Lynzi Murray of Farmington; brother, Dan Stevenson of Saint George, Utah; sister, Terry Tubbs of Price, Utah; 12 awesome grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews -
