CHESTER, Sally Ann (Keenan) 66, passed away May 3, 2017 in Tucson, Arizona after a short fight against Amyloidosis AL and Multiple Myeloma. Sally was born on September 12, 1950 in Steubenville, Ohio, to Kathleen "Marie" (Hughes Keenan) Bernabei and James Richard Keenan as the first of eight children. She grew up in Toronto, Ohio, and later lived in Youngstown, Columbus and Findlay, Ohio, before settling in Tucson, Arizona in 1991. Sally was an example of generosity and selflessness. She was a mother to seven foster children and five exchange students, in addition to her own children. Sally spent 20 years at Kellond Elementary School in Tucson, where she taught Kindergarten and 2nd grade. Her father, James, precedes Sally in death. She will be missed by her large family, including her mother, Marie and stepfather, Pasquale Anthony "Patsy" Bernabei; her husband, Kevin; her daughters, Kelli (Mike) Nardis, Katie (Josh) Lasota, Erin (Chad) Walter and Maria and her grandchildren, Ariana, Emily, Clara, Elise, Anna, Lilian, Ethan, Alice and Lincoln. Sally is also survived by seven siblings, 22 additional brothers and sisters-in-law and 42 nieces and nephews. Sally was interred at Toronto Union Cemetery in Toronto, Ohio on Monday, May 8, 2017. A Celebration of life will be held in Tucson, on Friday, May 26, 2017 at noon at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Cremation services handled by HUDGE
