Lois was diagnosed wIth Cerebral Amyloid Anglopathy (CAA) 7 years ago. CAA is a rare progressive neurological disorder. When Lois was no longer able to live alone, her daughter Beverly and son-in-law Tim, lovingly cared for her in their home. The family would like to thank VNA Hospice in Valparaiso, IN for their round the clock impeccable care Lois received during her last days. Bev would like to thank personally Jay, Lois' nurse, for her weekly in-home care visits from April 2012-July 2013. Lois was always ready with encouraging words for those in trouble. One of her favorite scripture quotes was Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
