Sept. 6, 1946-May 17, 2016 Sherry Lou Chunn Garner, age 69, of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, after a courageous battle with Amyloidosis. She was born on September 6, 1946, to the late Earl and Lucille Chunn of Philadelphia, Mississippi. Sherry was a 1964 graduate of Theodore High School. She worked at GM&O Railroad and later retired from Mobile Gas Service. Sherry was a loving mother, wife, sister, friend, aunt, and Mimi. Family and friends were Sherry's passion. She loved spending time with her daughters, her friends, and doting on her four grandchildren. We were blessed to learn many lessons from her among them: Always look for the silver lining. If you believe it, you can achieve it. Love people unconditionally and deeply. Be honest. A little lipstick always makes you feel better. Sherry was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Edmund Garner. She is survived by daughters, Donna Lynette Foster (Donald Evans) and Stacie Foster Taylor (Christopher); sisters, Karin Baxley and Carol Hammac; brother, Larue (Sandra) Chunn; grandchildren, Caden Linn Taylor, Carolina Grace Taylor, Camden Foster Taylor, and Cheri Claire Taylor; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends
