Diagnosed
February 2007 in Boston by Dr John Berk with Familial Amy. Domino
liver transplant in December 2007 at UCLA Medical Center at age 38.
He went back to work as a UPS driver in October 2008. He is doing
great! His younger brother with same diagnosis received his domino
liver transplant at UCLA in November 2008 (6 months after being
disgnosed) and is also doing well. Another brother chose not to get a
transplant and died 5 years after diagnosis in August 2008.
